Position: Transportation Security Officer (TSO)
We appreciate your interest in employment with TSA. If you successfully complete the TSO candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Location: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Fort Worth, TX
- Maintains a 24-hour flight schedule, seven days a week.
- Peak times:
- Monday to Friday: 5 a.m. – 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Screening operations may not be temperature controlled.
Work Schedules
- TSO work schedules entail non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Specific shifts assigned after training, subject to change based on operational needs.
- TSA employees must report for duty during inclement weather.
Shift Details
- Full-time positions available:
- 40 hours/week, five workdays with eight hours per day.
Sign-On Bonus
Currently, there is no sign-on bonus being offered.

- Free onsite parking for TSA employees.
- Public transportation available with subsidies at DFW.

Travel and Training Requirements
