Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a TSO, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Location

BFF - Western Nebraska Regional Airport, William B. Heilig Field, Scottsbluff, NE

Work Schedule

• Operational Hours:
• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 800-1830
• Wednesday: 1630-1830
• TSO work schedules are based on airport operational needs, including non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Shift Duration: Ranges from 2 to 10 hours a day, with scheduling varying based on airline schedules.

Compensation and Benefits

Sign-On Bonus

TSA is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 for this duty location, paid out in two installments during the first 12 months of service.

Promotional Potential

Under the career ladder system for TSOs, new officers have a path to reach up to a 67% increase from the starting base salary over 5 years.

Commuter Details

• Onsite parking is available for TSA employees free of charge.
• Public transportation to the airport is not available. Subsidies for transportation are not offered.

Additional Requirements

If hired, your employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required training and possibly traveling for training purposes.

Dress Code: TSO uniforms are provided, and there are restrictions on certain accessories and grooming while in uniform.
