Transportation Security Officer Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in joining the TSA as a Transportation Security Officer (TSO). In this role, you will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission by fulfilling unique operational requirements.
Local Airport Details
- Location: Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, North Bend, OR
- Schedule: 8 – 10 hour days, 7 days a week
- Peak Times:
- Monday through Sunday: 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. / 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Work Schedules
TSO work schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Specific shifts are assigned after training and may change based on airport needs.
Note: TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and must report for duty during inclement weather.

- Onsite parking available for TSA employees at no charge.
- Public transportation is not available.
