Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with TSA. If selected, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This role comes with unique operational requirements and compensation plans.

Local Airport Details

• Airport: Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (ICT), Wichita, KS
• Flight Schedule: Maintains a seven days per week flight schedule
• Peak Times: Monday through Sunday, Various times
• Screening Operations: Located inside the terminal, may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

• TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts are assigned after training and may adjust to meet operational needs.

Current Part-Time Shifts:

• Tour of Duty: 20 hours per week
• Days: Four (4) to five (5) days of four (4) to five (5) hours each day
• Shifts: 4 a.m. - 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
