Job Description
Inspect, repair, and modify aircraft structures and components; sheet metal and composite work; ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled/unscheduled/special inspections
- Fabricate/repair/modify metal components using sheet metal techniques
- Modify/install components per specs and engineering drawings
- Read/interpret aircraft/engineering drawings
- Perform and troubleshoot structural repairs (sheet metal, riveting, patching, fiberglass/composites)
- Ensure FAA/manufacturer compliance
- Understand airframe and powerplant systems
- Maintain accurate documentation for parts, repairs, inspections
- Ensure calibration of shop test equipment; report discrepancies
Qualifications:
- HS diploma minimum
- 5+ years aviation maintenance
- Preferred airframes: Gulfstream, Global Express, Falcon 900 EASy, Challenger 350, Citation Sovereign, King Air
- Preferred engines: BR710, HTF7000, PW306, TFE-731, PT6
- Alternative R&D experience considered
- Proficient with airframe/engine repair; strong analytical/organizational/communication skills
- Proficient computer and aviation software; accurate records; problem-solving
Required Certifications:
- FAA Airframe (A) – REQUIRED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to attain Love Field badge
