This is a fixed-wing environment working on CRJ aircraft, but all heavy/depot-level aircraft structures experience will be considered.
NO SPECIFIC AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Airframe License is PREFERRED, but not required
Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated Heavy Aircraft Structures Mechanics with at least 7 years of experience to support CRJ aircraft operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates with rotary-wing or fixed-wing depot-level structural maintenance backgrounds are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy structural modifications, repairs, and installations on CRJ airframes and components
- Remove, repair, and replace structural components using OEM and engineering instructions
- Utilize a variety of sheet metal tools and precision measuring equipment to ensure proper fit and finish
- Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals
- Maintain detailed documentation of all repairs and modifications in accordance with FAA and company standards
- Collaborate with QA, engineering, and fellow technicians to ensure safety and compliance across all tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of heavy/depot-level aircraft structural repair experience (rotary-wing or fixed-wing)
- Strong knowledge of aircraft sheet metal practices, fastener types, and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret complex structural repair manuals and blueprints
- Familiarity with CRJ or other regional jet platforms is a plus, but not required
- Airframe License is PREFERRED, but not required
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to pass a sheet metal plate test prior to starting the role
Shift:
- Must be shift flexible to be submitted
- Panama schedule, 12 hour shifts, alternating between 4on/3off and 3on/4off
- 1st shift: Work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday. Start 6:30am.
- 1st shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday off. Start 6:30am.
- 2nd shift: Work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday off. Start 6:30pm.
- 2nd shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday off. Start at 6:30pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 75 per week
