You have attended Avionics / Electric A/C Technical School or other substantiated equivalent You typically a minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience You typically a minimum of 2 year experience on corporate jet aircraft You typically a minimum of 1 year Bombardier aircraft model experience You have an A Certification, P Certification, A & P Certification or Repairman Certificate You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings You have the ability to effectively and accurately communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status with customers at all levels You own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools You must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays You must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside You Must have the ability to be available for considerable travel with 2 hours’ notice, to include extended assignments lasting up to 30 days. ERMC Aviation is seeking a skilled Baggage Handling Technician to join our aviation team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with industrial equipment and a proven track record in mechanical repairs. We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team at Unifi. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our ground operations, ensuring that all systems function smoothly to support our mission of providing safe and efficient service to our airline partners. The selected candidate is responsible for but not limited to: Keep our critical systems running smoothly by handling repairs and maintenance on various mechanical systems. This includes working with bearings, gearboxes, drive belts, and conveyor systems. You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting mechanical issues and finding practical solutions. Qualifications: • At least 2 years of experience working in an aviation environment, specifically with baggage conveyor systems • 3G or higher welding certification • Proven experience with welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding • Strong knowledge of oxygen acetylene torch operation • Expertise in light metal fabrication • Proficiency with both hand and power tools • Experience in mechanical maintenance Standard qualifications: • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
