Job Description
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft/engines; perform structural repairs; system checks; run & taxi; document work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled/unscheduled/special inspections
- Troubleshoot/perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft and engines
- Complete work order entries for discrepancies and corrective actions
- Structural repairs (sheet metal, riveting, patching, composites)
- System troubleshooting and checks; oil/fuel/nitrogen/oxygen services; pitot/static; battery services
- Understand airframe/powerplant systems
- Ensure calibration of shop test equipment; report discrepancies
- Perform engine run and taxi; participate in MOCF flights
- Assist/train other technicians
Qualifications:
- HS diploma minimum
- 3+ years aviation maintenance
- Preferred airframes: Gulfstream, Global Express, Falcon 900 EASy, Challenger 350, Citation Sovereign, King Air
- Preferred engines: BR710, HTF7000, PW306, TFE-731, PT6
- Proficient with airframe/engine repair; analytical/organizational/communication skills
- Proficient computer & aviation software; accurate records; problem-solving
Required Certifications:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) – REQUIRED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to attain Love Field badge
