Job Description
Perform inspections and QC documentation under FAA regulations; ensure compliance with regulatory and manufacturer specs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled/unscheduled/special inspections
- Complete Required Item Inspections (RII)
- Assemble/review work orders, log entries, work cards
- Ensure parts/materials are properly tagged/segregated
- Report faulty/inoperative equipment
- Maintain clean, orderly, compliant hangars/facility
- Ensure QC procedures/processes support efficient workflow
- Conduct internal audits (SMS) and vendor audits
- Maintain calibration of shop test equipment
Qualifications:
- HS diploma minimum
- 5+ years inspector experience in Part 135 and/or Part 145
- Preferred airframe experience: Gulfstream, Global, Falcon 900 EASy, Challenger 350, Citation Sovereign, King Air
- Advanced knowledge of FAA Part 135/145 regulations
- Practical knowledge of airframe/engine repair
- Strong analytical/organizational and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and MRO tracking software (Total FBO, Corridor, Pentagon, SAP, Flightdocs, CAMP, etc.)
- Accurate records; strong problem-solving
Required Certifications:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) – REQUIRED
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to attain Love Field badge
