Job Overview

As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This position includes unique operational requirements and a comprehensive compensation plan.

Local Airport Details

• 24-hour flight schedule: Peak times are Monday through Sunday:
  • 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.
  • 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
• Screening operations may be located inside the terminal and may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

• Schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• No flexibility for personal commitments; specific shifts assigned post-training.

Position Types Available:

• Full-time: 40 hours/week
• Part-time: 30 hours/week

Travel and Training Requirements

Employment contingent on successful completion of required training, which may involve travel and can take up to six weeks in full-time duty status.
