The Aircraft Technical Fleet Manager will serve as subject matter expert relating to all technical and maintenance aspects of the Caravan fleet. Develop, coordinate, and provide resolution for immediate, repetitive, and emerging technical issues on the C208 Caravan fleet. Acting as focal company interface with MRO performing special projects and heavy maintenance events, overseeing all facets of quality, production, and financial performance Function as the primary technical support and interface for airframe maintenance vendors through in accordance with company and OEM maintenance programs. Responsible for Airworthiness Directive program for the C208 Caravan fleet. Lead and support all technical aspects of aircraft lease/acquisition acceptances and returns. Support the Technical Operations in forecasting and managing the department budget through forward- looking planning and active cost control. Conduct vendor audit in accordance with company’s quality assurance program. Assume primary liaison role within the company in technical matters relating to the Caravan C208 fleet interacting with other functional groups such as planning, supply chain, quality control, engineering, etc. Review and reconcile financial invoices and pursue cost savings opportunities for as directed by management. Developing, implementing, and monitoring the C208 Caravan maintenance program with a focus on reliability improvement, increasing aircraft availability, and champion beneficial aircraft and equipment upgrades/modernization. Perform On-The-Job technical training on the C208 Caravan fleet in accordance with approved maintenance practices, company policies, safety procedures and general information where required. Participate in industry conferences and workshops.
