Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Maintains a seven days per week flight schedule with peak times Monday through Sunday:
- 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
- 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Screening operations are located inside the terminal and may or may not be temperature controlled.
Work Schedules
- TSO work schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Specific shifts are assigned after training and are subject to periodic adjustments.
- TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and are expected to report for duty during inclement weather.
Current part-time shifts: 16-25 hours per week; five (5) days of four (4) hours per day or four (4) days of five (5) hours per day.
Sign-On Bonus
This location is not offering a sign-on bonus at this time.
Recruitment Incentive amount is subject to change and will be determined at the time of final job offer.

- Onsite parking is available for TSA employees at no charge.
- Public transportation to the airport is available by the Huron Public Transit.
