Job Overview

As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This position requires a commitment to operational excellence and public safety.

Work Schedules

• TSA work schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts are assigned after training and are subject to periodic adjustments.
• Limited flexibility for personal commitments.

Part-Time Positions

• Hours: 20 or 25 hours per week.
• Shifts: Five (5) days of four (4) to five (5) hours per day, morning and afternoon shifts.
• No split shifts currently available at AZO.

Local Airport Details

• Maintains a seven-days-a-week flight schedule.
• Peak times: Monday through Sunday, 5 a.m. – 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
• Screening operations may not be temperature-controlled.
