Position: Transportation Security Officer (TSO)

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a TSO, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, Panama City Beach, FL
• Flight Schedule: Maintains a 16-hour a day, seven days per week flight schedule
  • Peak Times: Monday through Sunday:
    • 5 a.m. – 9 a.m.
    • 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Screening operations may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

TSO work schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Due to the nature of the job, flexibility is limited. Specific shifts are assigned post-training and may be adjusted periodically.

Part-Time Opportunities

ECP is currently assessing candidates for part-time positions (20 hours per week) during morning and afternoon shifts.

Compensation

Promotional potential exists under our career ladder system for TSOs, allowing for up to a 67% increase from the starting base salary over 5 years.

Transportation

• Parking: Onsite parking is available for TSA employees at no charge.
• Public Transport: Not available. Subsidies for transportation are not offered.
