Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security screenings of passengers and baggage.
• Maintain a safe travel environment for the public.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance airport security measures.

Work Schedule

• Hours of Operation: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 7 days per week.
• Shifts: May include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-Time Positions: Schedules can range from 16-32 hours per week, with shifts varying between 2 to 10 hours.

• Commuter Details: Onsite parking is available free of charge. Public transportation is not available.
• Training Requirements: Must successfully complete required classroom and on-the-job training, which may require travel.
