Position: Transportation Security Officer

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If selected for the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, Gulfport, MS
• Flight Schedule: 15.5 hours a day, seven days per week
  • Peak Times:
    • Monday through Sunday:
      • 5 a.m. – 7 a.m.
      • 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
• Screening operations may be located inside and outside the terminal and may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

• TSO schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts assigned after training completion are subject to changes based on operational requirements.
• TSA employees are required to report for duty during inclement weather.

Part-Time Positions Available:

• Hours: Twenty (20) hours per week, morning and afternoon shifts.
• Schedule: Four (4) days per week of five (5) hours per day.

Sign-On Bonus

This location is not offering a sign-on bonus at this time.

Commuter Details

• Onsite parking is available for TSA employees at $120.00 per year, subsidized by TSA.
• Public transportation is not available at this location.
