Transportation Security Officer Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Maintains a 24 hours a day, seven days per week flight schedule.
- Peak times: 3 a.m. - 10 p.m.
- Screening operations for passengers and baggage are located both inside and outside the terminal and may or may not be temperature controlled.
Work Schedules
- TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Specific shifts are assigned after new hires successfully complete their training and are subject to periodic adjustments.
Current Positions Available
- Full-time: 40 hours per week.
- Part-time: Five (5) days at 4.5 hours per day.
Note: It is required for this position to work all Federal Holidays.

Sign-On Bonus
Currently, this location is not offering a sign-on bonus.
Commuter Details
- Offsite parking available for TSA employees for $34.00/month.
- Public transportation is available but may not support some work schedules.
