Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in employment with TSA. As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This position requires you to fulfill unique operational requirements and adhere to the compensation plan.
Local Airport Details
- Location: IMT, Ford Airport, Kingsford, MI
- Flight Schedule: 16 hours a day, seven days per week
- Peak Times: Monday through Sunday:
- 5 a.m. – 7 a.m.
- 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Peak Times: Monday through Sunday:
Work Schedules
TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Specific shifts are assigned post-training and are subject to periodic adjustments. TSA employees are emergency personnel and must report during inclement weather.
Part-Time Positions Details:
- 20 hours per week
- Five (5) days of four (4) hours each day
- Available shifts: morning and afternoon
Sign-On Bonus
TSA is currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 for this duty location, paid in two installments during the first 12 months of service.
