Position: Transportation Security Officer (TSO)

Thank you for your interest in employment with the TSA. If you successfully complete the TSO candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Airport: Jamestown Regional Airport (JMS), Jamestown, ND
• Operating Hours: 3:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (seven days a week)
• Screening Operations: Inside the terminal; may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

TSO work schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Specific shifts are assigned post-training and may be adjusted. TSA employees are expected to report for duty during inclement weather.

Current Part-Time Shifts

• Minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Options: Five (5) days of four (4) hours per day or four (4) days of five (5) hours per day.
• Current shifts available: Morning and Afternoon.

Sign-On Bonus

The TSA is currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for this position, paid in two installments during the first 12 months of service.

Commuter Details

• Onsite parking available for TSA employees at no charge.
• Public transportation to the airport is not available.
• No transportation subsidies.
