Transportation Security Officer Job Overview

We appreciate your interest in joining the TSA team. As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will be a vital part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. Below are the details about the position, operational requirements, and compensation.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Grand Junction Regional Airport, Grand Junction, CO
• Flight Schedule: Operations run seven days per week.
• Peak Times:
  • Monday through Sunday:
    • 5 a.m. - 7 a.m.
    • 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
• Screening Locations: Inside the terminal (may or may not be temperature controlled).

Work Schedules

TSO schedules will be based on airport operational needs, potentially including non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Limited flexibility may be available to accommodate personal commitments. Specific shifts assigned post-training, with adjustments as needed.

Currently hiring for both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (30 hours/week) positions.

Sign-On Bonus

Note: There is currently no sign-on bonus being offered.

Commuter Details

• Onsite parking is available for TSA employees at no charge.
• Public transportation is not available. Parking subsidies are provided.

Travel and Training Requirements
