Transportation Security Officer Job Overview

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Transportation Security Officer (TSO) at Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) in Gainesville, FL. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Operational Schedule: 7 days a week
• Hours: 0400-2045
• Peak Times: Vary throughout the week
• Environment: Screening operations inside the terminal, may or may not be temperature controlled

Work Schedules

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Part-time: 20 hours per week
• Shifts based on operational needs; may include non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays
• TSA employees are expected to report for duty during inclement weather
