Transportation Security Officer Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the TSA. If selected for a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, Jackson, TN
• Work Schedule: 7 days a week, generally between 5 AM and 5 PM.
• Flight Departures: 18 scheduled flight departures throughout the week.

Work Schedules

• Full-Time (FT): 40 hours per week.
• Part-Time (PT): 20 hours per week, five (5) days of four (4) hours each day.
• Shifts may include non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.

Note: Due to the nature of the job, virtually no flexibility is offered to accommodate personal commitments.

Sign-On Bonus

Currently, there is no sign-on bonus offered.

Commuter Details

• Onsite parking available at no charge.
• Public transportation is not available.
• No transportation subsidies offered.
