Job Overview
If selected as a TSO, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. Please note the unique operational requirements of this position.
Local Airport Details
- Flight schedule: 16-18 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Peak times: Monday through Sunday from 4 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Screening operations may or may not be temperature-controlled.
Work Schedules
- Schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Note: No flexibility is available for personal commitments.
- Specific shifts assigned after training.
Part-Time Positions
- Current assessment for part-time positions at 32 hours per week.
- Four (4) to five (5) days of eight (8) hours each, depending on airport operational needs.
Compensation
- Sign-On Bonus: Currently not available.

Travel and Training Requirements
Employment contingent upon successfully completing training. Minimum travel of three (3) weeks may be required for new hire training.
Dress Code
Uniforms are provided, with restrictions on certain accessories and grooming standards.
