Transportation Security Officer (TSO) Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the TSA. If selected for this vital role, you will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission as a Transportation Security Officer (TSO).

Local Airport Details

• Location: Wilkes Barre/Scranton International Airport, Avoca, PA.
• Schedule: Seven days per week based on airlines’ flight departures.
• Work hours: Vary according to operational needs; includes non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Conditions: Screening operations may be temperature controlled or not.

Compensation and Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: Not offered at this time.
• Promotional Potential: Reach up to a 67% base salary increase over 5 years with federal pay increases.
