Job Overview

As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This position is essential for maintaining the safety of our transportation systems.

Work Schedules

• Work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts are assigned after training and are subject to periodic adjustments.
• TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and must report for duty during inclement weather.

Potential Schedule:

• 4-days of 10-hour shifts or 5-days of 8-hour shifts.
• Shifts may start as early as 5 a.m. and end as late as 10 p.m.

Sign-On Bonus

This location is not offering a sign-on bonus at this time.

Commuter Details

• Public transportation to PVC is generally not available.
• Employees may receive access codes for the airport from the Airport Manager for parking.

Travel and Training Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing required training, which may require travel for up to six weeks.
