Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with TSA. If you successfully complete the TSO candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Prescott Regional Airport, Prescott, AZ
• Operating Hours: Monday through Sunday, 5 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Maintains a seven days per week flight schedule. Screening operations are located inside the terminal and may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

• TSO schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Limited flexibility for personal commitments or schedules.
• Specific shifts assigned after training; subject to periodic adjustments.

Part-Time Positions Available

• Hours: 20-32 hours per week, two to four days of four to ten hours per day.
• Shifts: Morning and afternoon shifts.

Promotional Potential

New officers have a path to reach up to a 67% increase from the starting base salary over five years, in addition to any federal-wide pay increases.

Commuter Details

• Onsite parking is available for TSA employees free of charge.
• Public transportation to the airport is not available.
• Subsidies for transportation are not offered at PRC.
