Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in a career with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screening operations inside the terminal, which may be temperature controlled.
• Adhere to a flight schedule maintained 7 days a week for 5 hours per day, with peak times from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Be flexible to work non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays as dictated by airport operational needs.

Work Schedule

Part-Time Positions: 25 hours per week over five (5) workdays of 5 hours each. Scheduled days and hours will be based on airport operational needs. Specific shifts assigned post-training and may be adjusted as needed.

Onsite parking available for TSA employees at no charge. No public transportation to the airport is offered, and transportation subsidies are not available.

Travel and Training Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing required training, which may involve travel in a full-time duty status for up to 6 weeks.

Dress Code

Uniforms will be provided, with specific restrictions on accessories and grooming while in uniform.
