Transportation Security Officer Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If you successfully complete the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Location: Stockton Metropolitan Airport, Stockton, CA
- Maintains a 24 hours a day, seven days per week flight schedule.
- Screening operations for passengers and baggage are located inside the terminal and are temperature controlled.
Work Schedules
TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends and holidays. Specific shifts are assigned after new hires successfully complete their training and are subject to periodic adjustments.
Part-Time Positions
- SCK is currently assessing candidates for part-time positions.
- Positions are 20 hours per week, with hours varying from 4 to 6 per day.
Sign-On Bonus
This location is not offering a sign-on bonus at this time.
Commuter Details
- Parking is free for the first 12 hours.
- $12 after the first 12 hours.
