Job Overview

If you successfully complete the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Tri-Cities Airport, Pasco, WA
• Operational Hours: Monday through Sunday, 4 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Work Schedules

TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Specific shifts are assigned after training and may be adjusted periodically.

• Part-Time Positions Available
• Varied workdays arranged due to operational needs
• Employees must work holidays and weekends
• Shift bidding occurs once a year based on seniority

Compensation

• Sign-On Bonus: Currently not offered at this location.

Promotional Potential

New officers have a path to increase their base salary by up to 67% over 5 years, in addition to annual federal pay adjustments.

Commuter Details

• Onsite parking is available for TSA employees at a one-time fee of $5.00.
• Public transportation to the airport is not available.
