Job Overview

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Transportation Security Officers (TSOs). If selected, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Airport: Presque Isle Northern Maine Regional Airport (PQI)
• Flight Schedule: Seven (7) days per week
• Peak Times:
  • 4:30 a.m. – 6 a.m.
  • 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Screening operations are conducted inside the terminal and may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedule

TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Due to the nature of the job, virtually no flexibility is offered to accommodate personal commitments.

Part-time Positions:

• 20 hours per week
• Typically four (4) days with four (4) and eight (8) hour shifts

Sign-On Bonus

TSA is currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for this duty location, paid out in two installments during the first 12 months of service.
