Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If you successfully complete the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This role includes unique operational requirements and a competitive compensation plan.
Local Airport Details
- Maintains a 23 hours per day, seven days per week flight schedule.
- Peak times: Monday through Sunday, 3 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- Screening operations may or may not be temperature controlled.
Work Schedules
- TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport, including non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Specific shifts assigned after training; minimal flexibility due to job nature.
- Emergency personnel expected to report during inclement weather.
Current Openings:
25 hours per week
Five days of five hours per day
Part-time shifts in morning and afternoon hours

- On-site parking available for TSA employees at $55.00 per month.

Dress Code
TSO uniforms are provided with specific restrictions on accessories and grooming while in uniform.
