Job Overview

As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This position involves unique operational requirements with a competitive compensation plan.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Provo Airport, Provo, UT
• Flight Schedule: Maintains a 15 hours per day, seven days per week flight schedule.
• Peak Times: Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Screening Operations: Occur inside the terminal, with potential temperature control.

Work Schedules

• TSOs work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport, including non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts assigned after training completion are subject to periodic adjustments.
• TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and must report for duty during inclement weather.

Part-Time Positions

• Hours: 25 hours per week tour of duty, consisting of five (5) days with 5 hours per day.
• Shifts available during morning, afternoon, and evening.
