Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in employment with the TSA. If you successfully complete the TSO candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Location: Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport, Rhinelander, WI
- Flight Schedule: Maintains eleven (11), seven (7) days per week.
- Peak Times: Sunday – Saturday: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Screening operations are located inside the terminal and are temperature controlled.
Work Schedules
- TSO work schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Specific shifts are assigned after training and are subject to periodic adjustments.
- TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and are expected to report for duty during inclement weather.
Current Openings:
- Part-time positions available
- Shifts: 20 hours per week, five (5) days of four (4) hours per day
- Morning: 5:15 a.m.–9:15 a.m. or Afternoon: 12:15 p.m.–4:15 p.m.
Compensation
This location is not offering a sign-on bonus at this time. Recruitment Incentive amount is subject to change and will be determined at the time of final job offer.
