Thank you for your interest in a career with TSA. By successfully completing the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) candidate evaluation process, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Airport: Cortez Municipal Airport (CEZ), Cortez, CO
- Flight Schedule: Seven days a week
- Peak Times:
- 6 a.m. – 8 a.m.
- 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Work Schedules
TSO work schedules vary based on airport operational needs, including non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Part-time Positions: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day) with split shifts due to flight schedules.
Compensation and Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus: Not currently offered.
- Promotional Potential: Up to a 67% salary increase over 5 years.
