Transportation Security Officer (TSO) Job Overview

We are currently assessing candidates for part-time TSO positions at Wendover Airport, Wendover, UT. If selected, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Flight Schedule: Maintains a seven days per week flight schedule.
• Peak Times: Monday through Sunday: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Screening Operations: Located inside the terminal and may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

TSO schedules are based on operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Due to the nature of the job, flexibility for personal commitments is limited.

• Part-Time Shifts: 20 hours per week, five (5) days with four (4) hours per day during morning and afternoon shifts.

Sign-On Bonus

Currently, this location is not offering a sign-on bonus. Recruitment incentive amounts are subject to change and will be determined at the time of the final job offer.

Commuter Details

• Parking: Onsite parking available for TSA employees at no charge.
• Public Transportation: Not available. Transportation subsidies are not offered.

Dress Code

Uniforms are provided, and there are specific restrictions regarding accessories and grooming while in uniform.

Travel and Training Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing required training, which may require travel away from your airport for up to six (6) weeks.
