Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Airport: Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN)
• Location: Belgrade, MT
• Maintains a seven days per week flight schedule.

Screening Operations

Peak times:

• Monday through Sunday:
• 4:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Operations located inside the terminal with a four-lane checkpoint and two baggage pods.

Work Schedules

TSO work schedules are based on airport operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Full-time shifts: Eight (8) hours per day, could include split shifts.
• Part-time shifts: Five (5) hours per day.
• Specific shifts assigned after training and are subject to periodic adjustments.

Sign-On Bonus

The TSA is currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for this duty location, paid out in two installments during the first 12 months of service.
