Transportation Security Officer Job Overview
Thank you for your interest in employment with TSA. As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
Airport: Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE)
Location: Eagle, CO
Maintains a seven days per week flight schedule.
Peak times: Monday through Sunday:
- 6 a.m. – 8 a.m.
- 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Work Schedules
TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. There is virtually no flexibility offered to accommodate personal commitments or schedules.
Positions Available:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Part-time: 30 hours per week (Five days of six hours)
Sign-On Bonus
TSA is currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for this duty location, paid out in two installments during the first 12 months of service.

Training Requirements
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing required classroom and on-the-job training, which may involve travel for up to six weeks.

TSO uniforms are provided. Certain restrictions apply to accessories and grooming while in uniform.
