Transportation Security Officer Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the TSA. If selected for a position as a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, Manchester, NH
• Flight Schedule: 24 hours a day, seven days per week
• Peak Times: Sunday through Saturday, 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Work Conditions: Screening operations inside the terminal; temperature control may not be guaranteed.

Work Schedules

TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Specific shifts are assigned after training and are subject to periodic adjustments.

Part-time Positions:

• Hours: 20 hours per week
• Shifts: Five days of four hours per day (e.g., 4 a.m. - 8 a.m.; 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
