Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the TSA. If selected for the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Schedule: 18 hours a day, seven days per week
• Peak Times: Monday through Sunday: 4:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Peak Travel Season: June to September
• Screening Operations: Located inside the terminal, temperature controlled may vary

Work Schedules

TSO work schedules depend on airport operational needs and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Part-time positions are available:
- 20 hours per week
- Shifts: Four (4) to five (5) days, four (4) to five (5) hours per day (may include split shifts)

Compensation and Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: Currently, no sign-on bonus available, subject to change.

• Training Requirements: If hired, you must complete classroom and on-the-job training. Travel may be required for training.
