Job Overview: Transportation Security Officer (TSO)

Local Airport Details

• Jackson Hole Airport, Jackson, WY
• Operations are maintained year-round, seven days a week from 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Screening operations are located inside the terminal, with variable temperature control.

Work Schedules

• Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.
• No flexibility in schedules due to job nature; specific shifts will be assigned post-training.
• TSA employees must report for duty during inclement weather.

Current Opportunities

• Full-time and part-time shifts (16-32 hours per week) available.
• Split shifts, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

Sign-On Bonus

TSA is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 for this location, payable in two installments during the first 12 months of service.

Promotional Potential

New officers can achieve up to a 67% increase from the starting base salary over 5 years, in addition to any federal-wide pay increases.
