Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If selected for the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, Latrobe, PA
• Maintains a 24/7 flight schedule with peak times:
  • Monday through Sunday:
    • 4:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
    • 1:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Screening operations may be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

• TSO work schedules are based on operational needs.
• May include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts assigned after training; periodic adjustments may occur.
• TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and must report for duty during inclement weather.

Part-Time Positions

Assessing candidates for part-time positions (20-32 hours/week).

• Shifts may include:
  • Five (5) days at four (4) hours per day.
  • Four (4) days at five (5) hours per day.
  • Current shifts may include split shifts.

Compensation

Sign-On Bonus: This location is not offering a sign-on bonus at this time. Incentive amount subject to change at final job offer.

• Onsite parking available for TSA employees free of charge.
• Public transportation to the airport is not available.
• Transportation subsidies are not offered at LBE.
