Transportation Security Officer Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. Below are the details regarding the position.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Rickenbacker International Airport, Columbus, OH
• Maintains a seven days per week flight schedule
• Peak times vary from month to month
• Screening operations may or may not be temperature controlled

Work Schedules

• TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Due to the nature of the job, virtually no flexibility is offered to accommodate personal commitments. Specific shifts are assigned post-training and are subject to periodic adjustments.
• TSA employees are expected to report for duty during inclement weather.

Note: You must be prepared to work any assigned shift.

Sign-On Bonus

Currently, this location is not offering a sign-on bonus at this time.

Commuter Details

• Parking at LCK is free and located near the airport. A walk to the terminal is required.
