Job Overview: Transportation Security Officer (TSO)

We are currently seeking candidates for part-time positions at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). As a TSO, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Flight Schedule: 24/7 availability, with peak operations from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Work Environment: Screening operations may be located inside and outside the terminal and may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

• Shifts are based on operational needs, which may include non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts are assigned after successful completion of training.

Current Shift Details

• Tour of Duty: 20 hours per week
• Workdays: Five (5) workdays of four (4) hours each
• Shift Times: Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: Not available at this time (subject to change).
• Parking: Offsite parking available for $45-$65 per month.
• Transit Benefits: Up to $130.00 for mass transit commuting expenses.
