Job Overview

If selected for the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission. This role includes unique operational requirements and competitive compensation.

Work Schedules

• Peak Times:
• Sunday to Friday: 5 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Saturday: 5 a.m. – 9 p.m.

TSO work schedules may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays. Those hired will be considered emergency personnel and are expected to report for duty during inclement weather.

Part-Time Opportunities

We are currently assessing candidates for part-time positions:

• Shifts: 20 hours per week, including split shifts in the morning and afternoon.
• Typical Shift: 5 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. | 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Sign-On Bonus

The TSA is currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, paid out in two installments during the first 12 months of service (subject to change).
