Job Overview: Transportation Security Officer
Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If you successfully complete the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) candidate evaluation process and are selected for a position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Location: North Platte Regional Airport, North Platte, NE
- Schedule: 7 days per week
- Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM & 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Environment: Screening operations are inside the terminal in a temperature-controlled setting.
Work Schedules
- TSO work schedules may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- No flexibility is offered to accommodate personal commitments.
- Specific shifts are assigned post-training.
Part-Time Positions
- Hours: 16-32 hours per week, up to 5 days.
- Shifts: Ranging from 2 to 10 hours a day.
- Variable Days/Hours: May change based on airline schedules and airport operational needs.
Sign-On Bonus
Currently, this location is not offering a sign-on bonus.
