Job Overview

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSO), you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.

Local Airport Details

• Location: Yakima Air Terminal - McAllister Field, Yakima, WA
• Flight Schedule:
  • Four (4) flights a day, seven (7) days per week (4 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday to Friday)
  • Saturday: Two (2) flights a day (4:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
• Work Environment: Screening operations are located inside the terminal and may or may not be temperature controlled.

Work Schedules

TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and may include non-traditional shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Shift Details:
  • Part-time positions available (32 hours per week)
  • Four (4) to five (5) days with eight (8) hours per day

Compensation and Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: Unfortunately, no sign-on bonus is being offered at this time.
