Position: Transportation Security Officer (TSO)
Thank you for your interest in employment with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). If selected, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission.
Local Airport Details
- Location: Worland Municipal Airport, Worland, WY
- Flight Schedule: Five days per week, operating hours may range from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Peak times: Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Screening operations are conducted inside the terminal and may not be temperature controlled.
Work Schedules
- Non-traditional shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Specific shifts are assigned after new hires complete training and may adjust based on operational needs.
- TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and are expected to report for duty during inclement weather.
Current Part-Time Shifts:
- 16-32 hours per week, primarily 28 or 32 hours
- Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, may begin as early as 5 a.m.

Travel and Training Requirements
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing required training. New hires may require 3-6 weeks of travel in full-time duty status to complete training.

TSO uniforms are provided and there are grooming restrictions while in uniform.
