Job Description
Support daily store operations for aircraft materials and tools; ensure compliant handling, storage, issuance, and documentation; support maintenance activities and parts availability.
Responsibilities:
- Issue spare parts and materials for line and base maintenance operations
- Maintain storage facilities to aviation standards
- Update material requirements for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance (e.g., engine changes, C-checks)
- Follow safety, housekeeping, and material handling procedures
- Handle delivery and collection of spare parts to/from aircraft
- Assist Store Inspectors with binning received/inspected materials
- Generate and update reports (quarantine items, unserviceable parts, pick slips, fast-moving items, stock levels)
- Ensure issued rotables have serviceable tags/supporting documents; pursue return of removed components with unserviceable tags/documents
- Handle picking/packing of serviceable and unserviceable materials
- Assist in annual and mid-year stock takes
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Aircraft Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent)
- 2+ years in aviation supply chain or materials handling
- Knowledge of supply chain procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with authorized release certificates, shop findings/visit reports, MSDS, and certificates of conformity
- Understanding of aircraft parts classification (rotables, consumables, expendables)
- Experience with airline ERP systems and spreadsheets
- Good command of English
