Assist with ramp service troubleshooting events and support AOG response efforts as needed. Complete all required documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and StandardAero’s quality standards. As a Turbofan Engine Mechanic at StandardAero in Augusta, GA, you will put your skills and powerplant expertise to use performing overhauls, major inspections, and heavy maintenance on Honeywell turbofan engines (TFE731, HTF7000). What to expect in this role: Utilize precision instruments such as micrometers, torque wrenches, and calipers to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engines and APUs Navigate, research, and reference technical digital documents, OEM Light and Heavy Maintenance manuals. Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on Honeywell engine types and models. Disassembly and re-assembly of Honeywell engine types and models. Remove and reinstall engines on aircraft for major periodic inspections and core zone inspections. Perform incoming and outgoing engine runs and line maintenance, as required.
