Avionics Technician

Duties:

• We are seeking an Avionics Tech with experience in the removal, installation, troubleshooting and testing of all types of Avionics systems.
• Avionics Technicians will be performing testing, troubleshooting and repair on various avionics systems on primarily GA aircraft.

Required Experience:

• 4 years recent avionics experience.
• Wire repair knowledge
• Multimeter/Megohmmeter, Pitot/Static test equipment, Transponder test equipment.
• Reading schematics, and building wire harnesses in accordance with schematics.
• Building Coax cables.
• Soldering switches, pins, posts, etc.

Preferred Experience:

· Garmin installation and troubleshooting experience.

· Previously held Repairman’s certification, A&P license, VII level (military), or CDQAR (military).

· GA and Corporate aircraft experience

· FLIR experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Repair and maintain communication, navigation, GPS, FMS, WX Radar and other avionics related systems.
• Perform troubleshooting of all systems installed on the aircraft.
• Remove existing avionics and install new avionics components and systems, including planning, engineering, installation, configuration and final testing.
• Perform all aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks assigned.
• Some occasional travel may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
